ABOUT SIERRA VISTA REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center, part of Tenet California, is a 200-bed, acute-care provider of tertiary services, located at 1010 Murray Street in San Luis Obispo. Since it's inception in 1959, the hospital has grown into one of the leading providers of high-level medical services on the Central Coast. Sierra Vista has added many advanced services as the community has grown. This legacy continues with the hospital's development of one of the most advanced cardiac centers in the county. The Birth Center at Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center provides a comprehensive range of obstetric and infant services. The center includes labor-delivery-recovery (LDR) suites, a community-level newborn nursery and a neonatal intensive care unit. The dedicated nursing staff has experience in regular and high-risk birth and pediatric care.
