Hans Schleicher, DDS

When Dr. Hans Schleicher founded Schleicher Dental Group in 1978, his goal was a dental practice where he and his team could foster a true bond with each patient. Nearly three decades later, he still answers patients’ calls and e-mails within 24 hours. "Easy access to your doctor is important and in the end, that is really one of the critical things that is missing in today’s medical and dental practices. The doctor/patient relationship should really be a partnership and in our office, as dental care givers all of our staff view our roles as partners with the patient in their dental health," he says.  

A graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, Dr. Schleicher completed dental school at the University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston. He publishes articles and lectures on a variety of dental topics and conducts research on TMJ dysfunction and iontophoretic delivery of anti-inflammatory medications.

Dr. Schleicher has served on the dental advisory board and as dental director for Aetna, US Healthcare, NYLCare, Sanus, and Dentex. He is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology, American Dental Association, Academy of Sleep Medicine, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, American Academy of Oro-facial Pain, and Academy of General Dentistry.

One of Dr. Schleicher’s passions is collecting Texas Indian artifacts and memorabilia, which he displays at the office for patients to enjoy. He and his wife, June, have a 16-year-old son and a twelve-year-old daughter.
