In 1980, ICA added framed art to its product offerings at the request of a customer. Soon this category became a substantial portion of our Company’s business.

By the mid-1980s, ICA had identified a significant market opportunity in the mid-priced segment of the framed art industry and began selling to a broad range of Retailers. Over the next several years, Intercontinental Art shifted its focus to framed graphics.

In 1999, our Company began to expand its product lines beyond its traditional base of framed art by introducing a line of unique dimensional wall décor such as plaques, hooks, wall sculptures and other alternative wall décor items reflecting a variety of decorating themes and styles.

Over the last 28 years, Intercontinental Art  has successfully transitioned from a small entrepreneurial proprietorship to a large, professionally managed business with over 400 employees.  Although significantly larger in size, our Company has retained the entrepreneurial spirit that has been a hallmark of ICA’s success.

Today, ICA is a leading wholesale supplier of exclusive framed graphics, alternative wall décor and specialty mirrors to the Retail Industry.
