The Wendy’s Restaurants in Western New York were purchased by Great Lakes Restaurant Management, LLC in December of 1997.  Great Lakes Restaurant Management is owned and operated by a long-term Wendy’s franchisee from Rochester , New York .  This franchise group also owns stores in Erie , Pennsylvania , Cleveland , Ohio , South Bend , Indiana , Fort Wayne , Indiana and Rochester .

Great Lakes Restaurant Management, LLC also owns and operates DiBella's Old Fashioned Subs.  Currently, there are 3 locations in the Buffalo, NY area.

Locally, there are 23 Wendy’s Restaurants in Western New York with long term plans to add to this number.  We are dedicated to supporting the arts and education in Buffalo by working with organizations like the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra, the Theater of Youth and Buffalo and Erie County Libraries.

in Columbus , Ohio to become one of the world's largest food service companies.
