Clear Lake Regional Medical Center is a 604-licensed-bed tertiary regional referral medical center offering comprehensive inpatient and outpatient medical, surgical and specialty service. More than 40 medical specialties and associated services are represented at Clear Lake Regional Medical Center (CLRMC), including open-heart surgery, Level III neonatal intensive care unit and a comprehensive cardiovascular center. With a medical staff of more than 600, CLRMC employs 1,700 medical professionals and offers a comprehensive range of primary and tertiary services for patients of all ages.
According to the Tenth Annual HealthGrades Hospital Quality in America Study issued in October 2007, Clear Lake Regional Medical Center ranks among the top 5% in the nation for coronary interventional procedures. The study, the largest of its kind, analyzed patient outcomes at virtually all of the nation's 5,000 hospitals over the years 2004, 2005 and 2006.

Ranked #1 in the Houston area and among the top 5 percent in the nation for Overall Cardiac Services for 2007 and 2008 by HealthGrades®, the nation’s leading independent health care ratings company, CLRMC also is the recipient of the 2007 HealthGrades® Cardiac Care Excellence Award™. In addition to its HealthGrades’ accolades, CLRMC has received Cycle II accreditation with PCI (Percutaneous Coronary Intervention) by the Society for Chest Pain Centers. It is the only hospital in Southeast Houston to achieve that distinction.
The Woman’s Center Approximately 4,000 babies are born annually at The Women’s Center at CLRMC which is designed to provide comprehensive health care for women of all ages. In 2006, CLRMC received a five-star rating for maternity care and is ranked among the top 10 percent of hospitals for maternity care services for the second year in a row.
Neonatal Intensive Care Unity (NICU) The tiniest patients at CLRMC are cared for in the newly-expanded Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), a Level III unit that provides high-tech care in soothing surroundings. The 42-bed unit is staffed by board-certified Neonatologists and Neonatal Nurse Practitioners. All NICU and Newborn Nursery Staff are Certified Providers of Neonatal Resuscitation Program.
Other departments of CLRMC include: · The Breast Diagnostic Center – Offering full-field Digital Mammography, Integrated Computer Assisted Diagnosis (CAD), updated Ultrasound Equipment, Stereotactic and Ultra-sound-guided biopsies and Bone Density Screening. The Breast Diagnostic Center also offers the comfort of MammoPads. The Breast Diagnostic Center 200 Medial Center Blvd. Webster, Texas 77598 · Pearland Emergency and Imaging Center – Offers emergency medical treatment and imaging services in a convenient location with significantly shorter waiting times than at hospital-based emergency centers. The state-of-the-art Emergency Center is staffed 24-hours a day by board-certified physicians, all with extensive emergency treatment experience. The Imaging Center offers cutting-edge CT Scan, Diagnostic Digital X-Ray and Ultrasound. A radiologist is available to consult with physicians during normal business hours, and most laboratory services are on site. It is staffed by physicians trained in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Advanced Trauma Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support staff.
