Horizon’s Corporate Headquarters is the first Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Certified Commercial Interior project in Houston . Horizon currently holds a Silver LEED rating. In 2008, the office space was a part of Mayor White’s Green Building Tour that highlighted efforts to create a green energy space.

Horizon Wind Energy’s training and support initiatives are an important part of Horizon’s culture. From the first day on the job our employees are guided and supported by their teams and managers. We offer a collaborative learning environment in order to develop valuable strategic and technical skills and also provide crucial insight into the ever-changing industry in which we work.
At our offices, Horizon sponsors a monthly Learning Series where employees and external and internal speakers present topics that are of interest to a wide audience across the Company. Horizon has also developed an in-house training series for new hires and routinely sends employees to industry conferences to learn more about renewable energy |
