403(b) Tax Deferred Annuity Plan
Boston Senior Home Care will contribute 1% to 4% of gross income depending on length of service. In addition, Boston Senior Home Care will match up to 1% of salary contributed to the plan by the employee. To learn more about the 403(b) retirement plan provider, please visit www.metlife.com.
Earned Time
The Earned Time program combines traditional vacation, personal, and sick time benefits into one bank of Earned Time hours. Full-time employees accrue 27 days per year or 3.63 hours per week. Earned time hours increase after three full years of service.
Long term Disability
Boston Senior Home Care offers LTD insurance at no cost to the employee. Employees must work at least 20 hours per week to receive this benefit. Employees can receive 60% of their salary up to a maximum of $5,000 per month. To learn more about the LTD insurance provider, please visit www.unum.com.
Extended Sick Leave
Full-time employees receive 13 days annually to help cover periods of extended illness. Employees may accumulate extended sick leave up to a maximum of 600 hours.
Monthly T-Passes
The agency contributes $45 a month toward T-passes for administrative staff and up to $65 a month for employees who consistently visit clients in the field. An additional $10 is contributed toward Commuter Rail passes.
