A doctorate in Education was earned at the University of Pennsylvania. His doctoral thesis “The Critical Requirements for Training Directors” was praised by Stanford Research Institute as a “rare and valuable document”. Post doctoral work was done at Boston University.
Extensive experience as head of Training and Development for worldwide operations was accomplished at Babcock & Wilcox Corporation and Xerox. Through extensive research, The Devine Inventory System was developed and is currently used by many organizations worldwide. Dr. Devine is a co-founder of Performance Max, and the founder of The Devine Group. Devine Group and Performance Max are partnering to launch MajorMatch.
Teaching experience was acquired at intermediate, high school and college levels, the military and in industrial and business organizations. Additionally, contributions as Education Policy Coordinator for the National Association of Manufacturers was completed and counsel was provided to Harvard University on their Advanced Management Program (AMP) and Program for Management Development (PMD).
Dr. Devine is a Phi Delta Kappa, a gold key honorary fraternity for educators and is also a member of American Mensa, Ltd. His primary professional focus has been in shaping performance cultures.
Jill A. Devine
Jill received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Clemson University and has taken graduate courses in Business at the University of Delaware. She worked for E. I. DuPont de Nemours & Company for over 27 years. During this time, her diversified work experience included customer service, sales of various plastic films and polymers, market development, sales management along with various high-profile special assignments.
She was recognized and valued for her leadership and sales/marketing skills and her strong company contributions. Jill is a member in the Society of Human Resource Management, the National Association of Professional Women and has received her Six Sigma Certification as a Green Belt and Champion. She has completed years of sales, coaching and people development/leadership training.
In addition to her dedication to her career, Jill has been involved with Hospice volunteering; she was a member of the Junior League in various cities; and an active member in her church supporting the communities and ministries where she has lived including fundraising, Habitat for Humanity and ministering to the sick and elderly.
Presently, her major focus is on expanding the use of Performance Max LLC products and services to parents and their high school children, college students and graduates and business people in transition to help them make good choices when it comes to colleges, majors and careers and realizing fulfillment in their personal and professional lives.
William L. Dreshfield
After obtaining a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering degree from the University of Delaware, Bill enjoyed a long, successful career at E.I. DuPont de Nemours & Company. With over 20 years in leadership roles, Bill developed numerous skills in the areas of creating a performance based culture, hiring, coaching and mentoring, and was highly regarded for those skills.
In addition to receiving certification as a Six Sigma Green Belt, accreditation by The Institute for Independent Business (IIB) was obtained in 2006.
His primary focus is to work with small business owners and to coach them on how to optimize their company’s performance.
