The Navy Exchange System, with headquarters in Virginia Beach, VA, is a $2 billion plus retail division of the U.S. Navy, operating over 100 Navy Exchange facilities and 344 stores and 45 Navy Lodges around the world.

Seventy percent of the profits generated within the Exchange System are given back to Sailors in the form of Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR) distributions. Over the last 50 years, the Navy Exchange has contributed over $2 billion to the MWR fund.
