Yampa Valley Medical Center serves residents of Northwest Colorado and visitors from around the world. We are an independent, non-profit community medical center with 31 inpatient beds and 59 skilled-nursing beds.  

Our 48-acre campus, situated less than a mile from the world-class Steamboat Ski Area, includes Yampa Valley Medical Center, the Doan Walker Care Center, GrandKids Child Care Center, SportsMed Justin DeSorrento Sports Medicine Center, YampaWorks occupatinoal health services and a medical office building. YVMC opened in 1999, offering the latest technology and a beautiful working environment. Our Med-Surg unit includes an ICU and our Family Birth Place provides a Special Care Nursery.
