Since its founding in 1902 as a six-bed frontier hospital, St. Luke’s has grown to become Idaho’s only locally-owned not-for profit health system. St. Luke’s is recognized as the region’s leader in cancer, cardiac, and women’s and children’s services. Our major facilities include St. Luke’s Boise Medical Center, our downtown Boise tertiary medical center; St. Luke’s Meridian Medical Center, a rapidly growing 116-bed community hospital in the adjacent city of Meridian; St. Luke’s Wood River Medical Center, a critical-access hospital in the Sun Valley area; St. Luke’s Magic Valley Medical Center, a 213-bed hospital serving rural and growing communities in south central Idaho; St. Luke’s Mountain States Tumor Institute, one of the Northwest’s most respected cancer care centers; and St. Luke’s Children’s Hospital, within our Boise Medical Center.
St. Luke’s also owns and operates more than 25 outpatient clinics and treatment centers, including St. Luke’s Breast Care Services, St. Luke’s Mountain States Urology Centers, St. Luke’s Comprehensive Epilepsy Center of Idaho, St. Luke’s Internal Medicine, and St. Luke’s Idaho Cardiology Associates.
