Founded in 1952 by five visionary women as a 42-bed hospital with a staff of 118 physicians, Children's has grown into a 338-bed pediatric medical center on a 50-acre campus. This position is accountable for the assessment, treatment, and management of patients with motor, sensory, perceptual, and/or cognitive impairments affecting functional independence and active participation in daily living. Instructs and supervises OT Assistants and Aides in treatments delegated and follows through with required documentation. Involved in the orientation, training, and oversight of student interns and new employees. Participates in a variety of professional growth activities intended to develop and improve patient care delivery and departmental performance.
REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy required, Mater's Degree preferred.

Current California Occupational Therapy license.

Current BLS certification required.

Current certification in the National Board of Occupational Therapist is required.

Minimum of two years of related experience required.
