JOB DESCRIPTION: The Program Manager, International Sales will report to the Director of International Programs and provide International Growth support for JSOW and Tomahawk. The position will be responsible for profit and loss for programs valued in excess of $200M in sales and in excess of $400M in bookings. The position is responsible for maintaining high visibility, resolving customer issues directly and establishing long range capture strategy with a projected 19 countries. This work will involve resolving day to day State Department, OSD, USAF and USN foreign sales/disclosures issues along with direct contact with foreign governments. This position will represent JSOW and Tomahawk Programs and Air Warfare Systems (AWS) Product Line at a senior level to customers and government representatives to foreign governments regarding all capture related matters for JSOW and Tomahawk. Performance is directly related to the growth of the Air Warfare Systems Product Line and JSOW and Tomahawk's programs and/or specialized payload support.
The role will support the International Programs Director in several areas, to include representing the JSOW and Tomahawk Directors, AWS VP, and RMS/RTN in executing long range strategy, planning, contracting, and meeting commitments. Responsible for execution of program content to meet customer requirements and achieve internal financial objectives. Responsible for building and maintaining effective relationships with internal business leaders, including RMS leadership team. Responsible for mentoring and leading a team consisting of approximately 20 functional support such as Engineering, Supply chain, and other functional organizations. Works with internal executive leadership to develop and implement JSOW and Tomahawk programs' policies.
REQUIRED SKILLS: In addition to educational requirements, at least 12 years direct experience participating in program design and development activities, including at least 5 years in a leadership role, and related progressive experience in contracting, supply chain, interaction with potential and actual foreign customers, working complex tasks with budget and growth responsibilities for the profit and loss product, with difficult contracting activities and experience dealing with foreign governments and DoD FMS support personnel. Demonstrated experience in effectively communicating with military customers. Demonstrated experience with technology release, licensing, FMS and DCS processes. Experience successfully interfacing with DOD as a customer base. A demonstrated history of strategic planning and lead decision making to develop, communicate and execute broad long-range goals across a lean organization. Excellent negotiation skills. Working knowledge of offset programs. Demonstrated effective utilization of networks and building positive team and customer relations. Existing Secret clearance.
DESIRED SKILLS: Systems Engineering Background in working military weapons technology. Demonstrated experience successfully managing Highly Classified Proprietary Programs. Technical knowledge of JSOW and Tomahawk products. Working knowledge of Life Cycle support and/or program business finance processes.
DEGREE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in business or other related technical discipline. May substitute 10 years of combined equivalent training, education and/or experience for degree requirement.
