Contract Specialist

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Perform contract administration and negotiation duties which include: being the focal point for company and supplier communications (oral and written); keeping contracts on schedule by resolving contract issues quickly, expediting supplier and company personnel (some travel required); processing, controlling, and maintaining contract file documentation; recommend bidders, issue inquiries, negotiate bids, perform cost and price analysis, and prepare comprehensive letters to the customer to justify recommended contract actions.

Experience in contract administration, purchasing, or related business is beneficial.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• BS in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or Marketing
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 is preferred
• Must be a U.S. citizen. Applicants selected will be subject to a Federal background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified matter.
