Optometric Lab Manager

Growing retail optical chain is currently recruiting for Optometric Lab Manager.

Responsibilities include; Monitoring and controlling all lab costs associated with and including optical lenses, lab equipment, lab supplies and lab payroll.

Participates in the hiring, orienting, supervising and coaching/training of lab personnel. Working and Supervising day-to-day production and fabrication of eyewear ensuring high quality end results within a Same Day or One-Hour Service environment.

Candidates must have a proven background in Optics accompanied with excellent customer service, communication and organizational skills, as well as, general math knowledge and hand/eye coordination to work with very small parts. Minimum 3 years optical experience needed. Supervisory experience preferred but not necessary.
