Clinical Nurse Specialist, Psychiatry

Superior NYC based hospital with world renowned physicians and programs is seeking dynamic RN Clinical Nurse Specialists to join their team of outstanding talent! This is a great opportunity for Advanced Practice RNs to practice in an acute setting and be part of an outstanding group of highly distinguished nurses!!

The Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) is a registered professional nurse who demonstrates clinical expertise through advanced education, knowledge, and skills in an area of practice and clinical nursing specialization. The CNS is able to guide and promote the growth and development of nursing practice through application of advanced nursing knowledge and skills with patients and families, nurses, and other health care providers.

Requirements:

Licensure: New York State License with current registration

Education: BSN and Masters Degree in Nursing or health care related field required.

Certification: professional certification in area of Psychiatry

Five years of related nursing experience in psychiatric care

Previous teaching experience preferred.

Salary:

$80-90K++ plus comprehensive benefits
