Studio Associate- PictureMe Portrait Studios

- Provides operational and administrative services in a PictureMe Portrait Studio, including photography, sales, customer service, reporting, safety, inventory control, and the development and continuation of a professional relationship with Host Store Managers and associates.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Participates in the day-to-day operations of the PictureMe Studio, including photography of customers of all ages (adults, teens, children, babies and infants), customer service, sales, and special activities, as directed
- Partners with the Studio Manager and other associates to achieve Studio’s operating plan goals
- Responsible for contributing to the overall sales performance of the studio by meeting or exceeding budgeted sales standards and other key performance standards
- Provides excellent customer service on a consistent basis through the proper use of photography and sales processes
- Responsible for projecting a positive attitude toward all Company and Host objectives and directives while promoting teamwork with all studio associates
- Assists with the maintenance of the studio equipment, fixtures and inventory, while ensuring a clean and safe operating studio
- Follows all operational standards, including but not limited to “on time opening and closing of the studios”, safety, proper administration of all cash handling and reporting processes
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to deliver excellent customer service
- Ability to follow the Company’s directives, policies and processes
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
- Ability to work patiently with customers of all ages
- Ability to manage time and solve problems
- Basic skill in the use of computers
- Ability to contribute to a cooperative team-work environment or to work alone
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT:
This position is within a retail environment; hours and schedules may vary based on the seasonality of the business. The Studio associate must be available and willing to work nights and weekends.

- Frequently required to bend, stoop, squat, kneel, crouch, and reach above shoulder
- Lift, push, pull or move weights up to 30 pounds
- Associates must use their hands for simple grasping and fine manipulation in daily activities and for the occasional set up and maintenance of the studio and equipment
- Frequently required to stand for long periods of time
- Occasionally climb a ladder to approximately 10 feet above floor level
