Food Services Manager Job duties include:

· Plan, develop, organize and direct departmental functions (including personnel and administrative)

· Attend educational programs and job-training seminars as requested or directed.

· Participate in Performance Improvement / Quality Assurance Activities

· Provide to the Administrator appropriate reports/documentation to support departmental updates, disciplinary actions, and other as necessary.

· Assist with training and implementation of current guidelines and regulations that govern long term care centers

· Assist with the preparation of the annual nursing center budget and comply with established budget restraints.

· Delegate to associates’ the authority, responsibility and accountability necessary to perform assigned duties.

Successful candidate will have:

· A minimum of, a high school diploma.

· A certification of both the Dietary Managers Training Course and Certification Exam.

· A minimum of two years experience in a supervisory capacity in a skilled nursing care center or other related medical facility.

· Working knowledge of dietary practices and Procedural Guidelines

· Good interpersonal skills

· Ability to maintain a cohesive team environment
