Baylor Health Care System is a not-for-profit, faith-based healthcare system with many care locations in the Dallas-Ft. Worth community. The Nurse Practitioner Specialty evaluates plans and provides care for patients in consultation with and under direct supervision of attending Physician. Performs clinical procedures under direction of attending Physician and according to approved protocols. Initiates and changes orders for tests and patient care based on condition of patient and approval of Physician. Develops and maintains active practice in facilities. May be asked to provide home-based primary care to disabled patients and patients that struggle with making and keeping appointments in a normal clinic setting. Work setting can vary from coordination of care for frail home-bound older adults, care delivery and health outcomes to vulnerable medical and surgical patients upon hospital discharge. As well as care coordination for patients receiving care for both in-patient and outpatient health care services
Bachelor's degree is required. Texas RN license is required. Advanced Nurse Practitioner license is required. Minimum of 1 year nurse practitioner experience is preferred. CPR/BLS is required. ApplyPLEASE APPLY USING THIS BUTTON ONLY
