JOB DESCRIPTION:

Maximizes sales by helping customers select and purchase merchandise, while following all company standards, policies and procedures. Assists store management by overseeing the sales floor. Partners with store management to implement all corporate and store programs, practices and policies. Works with store staff to follow store merchandising standards and restock merchandise.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Track retail sales against goal using the system provided
  • Ensure highest levels of customer service which will result in increased productivity
  • Perform opening and closing procedures (i.e., opening cash counts, closing deposits, shift management, etc.) in accordance with Origins policies
  • Provide direction and give feedback to store management regarding staff performance
  • Assist in the planning, preparation and execution of cost effective events to generate additional sales
  • Utilize and maintain customer database for phone calls, product launches, events and appointments
  • Present a positive attitude toward the Company, product and staff
  • Present a professional appearance and maintain Origins grooming standards and Dress Code
  • Demonstrate products on customers
  • Serve as a resource for general product knowledge to all customers and staff members
  • Attend training, education and meetings as required
  • Adhere to policies and procedures of the store
  • Assist in the preparation and completion of accurate physical inventory as requested
  • Enforce and maintain the highest visual standards, including displays, signage, lighting and props
  • Solicit and communicate product feedback from staff and customers to team leader
  • Assist in the flow of merchandise from stock areas to the selling floor in a timely and organized

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1 - 2 years keyholder responsibility in a service-oriented environment
  • Excellent customer service, communication and organization skills
  • Must be completely reliable
  • Professional attitude and ability to be flexible and handle change in a positive manner
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to work flexible hours
