Office Manager - Austin, TX

Wingfoot Commercial Tire Systems, LLC with corporate headquarters in Fort Smith, AR is a subsidiary of the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. As an Office Manager you will perform all administrative and office management duties for a Wingfoot Commercial Tire Center, including but not limited to the following:
- Customer service
- Billing, credit and collection
- Telephone, filing and general administrative duties
- Accuracy in all accounting entries
- Maintaining control of all center assets and inventory
- Reviewing daily sales reports any significant changes in gross profits, inventories and potential bad debt losses.
- Assisting in maintenance of personnel records in compliance with federal and state regulations, company policy and OSHA record keeping.
- Understanding and executing company policy and procedures.
- Compliance with OSHA regulations and safety requirements pertaining to this position.
- Any other operating functions in connection with the Center.
This position typically operates in an indoor office work environment, therefore minimal exposure to heat and cold is to be expected.
Excellent safety and attendance performance is expected.

REQUIREMENTS:

Must be willing to follow all safety procedures and work in a safe manner.
Must be able to work in a results-oriented, fast-paced environment as part of a team.
Must be a self-starter and willing to take the initiative, able and willing to work without direct supervision, and be willing to attend appropriate training sessions.
Some extended hours and/or work on Saturdays may be required.
High School Diploma or GED required. Two year college associate degree preferred.
At least two years of previous administrative experience in a customer service environment is preferred.
Must be familiar with general financial and management concepts including cash management, credit & collections, billing & receiving functions, inventory management, accounts payable, and P&L functions.
Must be familiar with computers, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and related programs.
Must be able to pass a background check including employment history, SSN verification, criminal history, etc.
Must be able to pass a physical exam and drug test (hair-based).
