We are currently seeking a full time Risk Manager to join our team. The Risk Manager is a Licensed Health Care Risk Manager, licensed to perform risk management activities in a Florida Health Care Facility and is responsible for the identification, investigation, analysis and evaluation of risks and the selection of the most advantageous method of correcting, reducing or eliminating identifiable risk

Qualified Candidates must possess:

  • Baccalaureate degree (healthcare-related preferred) required

  • MSN, MHA, MBA, or MHSA preferred

  • CPHRM required

  • Minimum of 5 years health care experience (clinical experience preferred)

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in clinical risk management preferred

  • Supervisory and/or management experience required

  • Comfortable and skilled at working with physicians, health care providers and other stakeholders in the organization

  • Capable of gaining immediate credibility with individuals through experience, presentation, communication skills, empathy and compassion

  • Analytical skills including a working knowledge of basic statistics and statistical analysis methodologies

  • Knowledge of PC based computer software, i.e. Word, Excel, Access and/or similar systems preferred

  • Ability to work independently and interdependently

  • Broad knowledge and familiarity with healthcare-related regulatory and accreditation requirements

  • Meets requirements of local jurisdiction for risk management certification
