Associate Analyst, External Investments: The Sinon Group

Leading provider of investment management, asset and fund administration, fiduciary and banking solutions seeks an Associate Analyst, External Investments.

Requirements

• MBA and/or CFA preferred
• 3-7 years of experience
• Knowledge of investments and financial markets, usually acquired by degree or related experience
• Strong background in statistics and solid understanding of quantitative approaches to analyzing data
• Strong communication skills, excellent verbal and written skills

Responsibilities

• Assist senior research analysts and the research team in selecting, monitoring and terminating external fund managers for the manager of managers business
• Analyze and evaluate manager information, both quantitative and qualitative in nature
• Assist in the search activity for new managers; screens and interview managers as part of the manager selection process
• Daily involvement in the monitoring and oversight of the current manager roster
• Assist in the analysis and recommendation to terminate a relationship with external managers
• Assist in the preparation of client material.
