SR. ACCOUNTANT: The Albrecht Group

My client, a manufacturer, located in Western Michigan is seeking a Sr. Accountant who is passionate about analyzing numbers and driving business results.

Responsibilities:

Maintains accurate and timely budgets projections

Prepares end of period financial reporting

Drives improvement and operations processes

Creates internal cost metrics and standards

Reviews and maintain cost accounting processes

Prepares journal entries, financial statements, budgets, and audit reports in accordance with General Accounting Practices (GAPs)

Provides record of assets, liabilities and other financial transactions related to inventory

Requirements:

BS Accounting, MBA or CPA preferred

2-5 years of Accounting experience in a manufacturing environment

Sound knowledge of General Accounting Practices (GAPs)

Sound knowledge of accounting tools and systems

Ability to create cost metrics and standards
