External Description: Providence is calling Clinical Managers.
The Clinical Manager is responsible for the day-to-day supervision and operations for the assigned areas of responsibility, including the Emergency Department, Pediatric After Hours Clinic, and trauma coordination, at Providence Centralia Hospital. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, staffing, education, department operations, developing and ongoing professional relationships with physicians and staff, supporting department goals and objectives, promoting the Providence Centralia Hospital Commitment to Excellence program and assuring staff engagement in the assigned area of responsibility. The position works closely with the Director and Critical Care/Progressive Care (CCU/PCU) Clinical Manager to support program development and marketing to ensure continued growth and viability of both units.

Position Specifics
This position is located at Providence Centralia Hospital in Centralia, Washington. This is a full time, exempt position. All candidates hired into a position posted as 20 hrs/wk or more qualify for benefits.
REQUIREMENTS
Education: Required: Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field, consideration of Bachelor's degree in process in lieu of completed degree.
Licenses/Certifications: Valid Registered Nurse license in the State of Washington. BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, and TNCC certification required.
Experience: Required: Three years total experience or one year of Manager level experience in the area of assigned responsibility in an organization of similar size and complexity. Previous teaching / educator experience and supervisory experience at Charge Nurse level or above. Three years current/recent experience in ED nursing is required. Knowledge of current trends, reimbursement issues, and regulatory requirements as relates to acute/critical care. Preferred: Five years total experience or three years of Manager level experience in the area of assigned responsibility or an area of equal / greater size and complexity. Education experience preferred.
