Quality Technician II - 2nd Shift
Job Purpose:
Key Requirements:
Provide effective technical Quality support to top assembly operations. Work with engineers, technicians, supervisors, and floor personnel to resolve day-to-day issues, achieve team objectives, and promote Quality principles. Review, investigate, disposition, and resolve non-conforming material issues, customer complaints, and critical defects. Analyze Quality data for issues/trends and identify/implement corrective actions as necessary. Conduct in-process monitoring tests. Use statistical tools to analyze data, make acceptance decisions, and improve process capability. Initiate engineering change requests.
Qualifications:
High school diploma. Minimum of one year hands on medical product building experience in a QSR regulated industry. Previous application of Quality tools, basic algebra, and statistics. Independent organization and prioritization of multiple tasks. Strong knowledge and previous application of Microsoft Excel, Word, Visio, Minitab, Applied Statistics, PDM, and SAP. Must work effectively in a dynamic work environment. Must be a self-starter and take the initiative. Must be a strong, independent problem solver with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred skills: ASQ Certified Quality Technician, mechanical and electrical aptitude, knowledge and previous application of Six Sigma tool. Technical education preferred.
