Chenega Technology Services Corporation Job Description Company Job Title: Project Coordinator II Chenega Job Title: Project Coordinator II Location: Lorton, VA Reports To: Projects and Plans Manger FLSA Status: Full-time/Exempt Summary Assists with tracking and coordination of project activities for the Enforcement Technology Program (ETP) of the Customs and Border Protection (CBP) as directed by the Manager, Projects and Plans. Specifically responsible for tracking, scheduling, coordination, documentation, and requirements of project assignments. May be required to track status of several projects concurrently. Some degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position • Supports the projects team by coordinating, participating, and managing project management documentation for one or more ETP projects. • Assists with providing the appropriate templates that will be used throughout the System Life Cycle process of the project. • Maintains tracking of action items and follows up with the Project Managers to ensure timely reply and/or action. • Assists in the development, planning, and execution of meeting agendas and distributes any required materials and minutes. • May perform incidental project management including planning, research, analysis and implementation of deliverables/action items. • Monitors aspects of project execution to ensure timely contribution by team members. • Assists in the development of Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and implementation planning timelines. • Assists with identifying potential bottlenecks in processes and works with the project management team members to resolve issues. • Prepares progress reports. • Liaisons with appropriate government personnel and department managers as appropriate when performing project activities. • Utilizes ongoing PMBOK and/or System Life Cycle procedures in the execution of projects. • May act as team lead on smaller project efforts. • Other duties may be assigned. Education and/or Experience • Requires a Bachelors degree or its equivalent with 4-6 years of experience in project management activities, logistics, engineering, IT or other similar arena.
