Quality Engineer: Ultra Clean Technology

Essential Responsibilities:
Audit manufacturing and test processes
Troubleshoot systems failure; actively participate in failure analysis and corrective action efforts
Develop test and inspection plans
Interface with customer and supplier staff on technical issues
Support cleanroom product testing in inspection and test and final testing of product.
Collect, report and analyze SPC data
Develop corrective action processes and continuous improvement programs
Conduct supplier audits and qualification as required
Conducts and supports internal ISO audits as required
Provides training to users on quality systems
Perform other duties as needed


Educational/Certification Requirement:
Bachelors degree in Engineering discipline/equivalent
ASQ CQA, CQT or CQE certification preferred

Experience Requirement:
5+ years related experience in high-technology manufacturing, preferably in semiconductor capital equipment or related industry
Working knowledge of quick-turn, engineer-to-order environment
Hands-on experience with ISO certification

. Strong verbal and written communication skills
Project management skills
Training/presentation skills
Ability to work effectively with operations and other groups to ensure that site delivery and quality issues are met
Working knowledge of MS Office Suite and database software
