Responsibilities:

The Project Manager, Level I, is responsible for managing/directing the implementation of projects to meet Business Unit needs that are compatible with business drivers. Demonstrates ability to thoroughly research subjects for projects, while providing direction/support for the preparation of quality deliverables. Will assure smooth functioning of procedures through analysis of data, trends, and obstacles. Manages all aspects of analysis, development, maintenance, and enhancement of applications/systems to ensure the compliance with architectural standards. The Project Manager will direct staff toward working with internal and external supporting organizations to achieve effective results. Will maintain strong working relationships and provide performance feedback for all team members.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, a related field or equivalent work experience. Must have three or more years of project management responsibility demonstrating excellent leadership and financial management skills. Will have four or more years of information systems experience with successful development, implementation and maintenance across multiple hardware and software platforms. Experience managing simultaneous projects is strongly preferred. Must have knowledge of Quality Assurance processes and formal software development lifecycle methodologies including “Waterfall”, RAD and Conference Room Pilots. Knowledge of POS applications, restaurant, and stadium/arena systems and business practices is a plus. Will have experience in planning, developing and managing work plans and budgets. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to discuss technical, functional and managerial information clearly and concisely to ensure client’s understanding. Will have the ability to multi-task, and manage an interchanging staff under deadline-oriented environments. Will have the ability to adapt to rapidly changing technology and apply it to business needs.
