Description
Independent and takes initiative on team projects. Good Communication skills. Flexibility. Strongly prefer CURRENT acute cardiac care/tele/post cath experience.

The Clinical Educator utilizes knowledge derived from the biological, physical, and social sciences to assist the Manager(s) in developing, educating staff and assisting the unit efficiently and effectively in providing quality nursing care to patients in the population and age groups treated by the service(s) and their family. Supports evidence-based nursing practice. Serves as a role model and resource person for staff by: (1) utilizing the nursing process; (2) identifying own professional needs and those of staff; and (3) being responsible for the education, employee orientation, staff development, competency validation of staff and students. This position has the primary responsibility in clinical, consultive, and educational aspects of staff nurse and patient education.
