Patient Service Representative (part-time)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Patient Service Representatives work on-site in a local hospital with uninsured patients. They establish eligibility for public assistance (Medicaid and charity) programs and work as a liaison between the patients and state/Federal agencies to secure the benefits.

We have part-time weekend positions available, working from 12pm-8:30pm Saturday and Sunday.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree preferred in the social sciences (psychology, sociology, etc.) but not required
• Background in social work/Medicaid is a plus
• Bilingual skills a +
• High school diploma or equivalent is required
• Must have excellent communication skills
• Must be willing to work part-time on the weekends
