Member of Technical Staff (NETREX)

Position Description

Under supervison and guidance, the MTS supports technical projects, current network technologies, and new network element integration. This Technical Team member supports the Tier II NRC team and ATT Labs to assist in resolving technical issues. The MTS supports technical initiatives related to new technology introduction through technical assessment, standards, participation in certification, development and testing of detailed methods of procedure for the implementation of network changes. The major technologies span Layer-1 through Layer-3 with a strong emphasis on Layer-3 IP/MPLS networking and control plane protocols in large scale networks. Strong communications skills are required.

Position Qualifications

Knowledge of IP/MPLS networking and control plane protocols in large scale networks. Strong communication skills. Requires a Bachelor's in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, MIS, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research Degrees (Will also consider: Math, Business, Finance, Telecommunications) Applicant must have a minimum GPA of 3.2. No visa sponsorship available.
