POSITION
Quality Assurance Analyst / Tester

Job Description:
Responsibilities for this role include performing the following duties: - Perform system level testing to ensure that all programs operate as an integrated system
- Develop and execute test procedures to assess system performance and identify problem areas
- Analyze test results, make system adjustments, and develop optimum solutions for hardcore problems
- Conduct analysis of user requirements to design, conduct, and document the results of rapid evaluations of prototype systems
- Capability to develop test scenarios for evaluations based on user requirements and engineering prototypes
- Define, enhance, and support testing requirements and testing activities specified in individual tasks
- Design and conduct user evaluations with users and user surrogates, including development of rating scales and structured interviews and to conduct statistical and practical analysis of evaluation results
- Participate in analysis of user requirements through interviews with users and SMEs
- Perform functional analysis of COTS and other software and analyze functionality and usability of prototype systems
- Use available tools, techniques, and standards to produce detailed test specifications
- Support Quality Assurance inspections at unscheduled intervals and report the results as directed
The skills, experience, and knowledge required to be considered for this position include: - BA/BS Degree
- Minimum of 3-5 years of test/QA experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite 2007
- Proficient in Microsoft Visio 2007
- Experience with test tool suites and SDLC tool suites,
- Experience developing documentation related to testing including but not limited to: test plans, performance evaluations, QA plans, test procedures and expected results, etc.
- Experience recommending the level of testing to be performed and the evaluation criteria to be applied
- Excellent customer interaction skills
- Demonstrated capability to write/review documentation of user requirements and the results of evaluations systems
