Performance Improvement Team Leader

Heartland Regional Medical Center located 40 minutes North of Kansas City in St. Joseph currently has a full-time opening for a Performance Improvement Team Leader. Heartland Health is an integrated health delivery system serving a 21-county area and winner of the Distinguished Hospital Award for Excellence. This position is responsible for the design, deployment, monitoring and evaluation of the organizational performance improvement program. This position plans, directs, and coordinates the resources necessary to provide support to improvement teams and delivering results in specific times frames. Consults with leadership to identify process improvements to achieve operational and strategic goals. Baccalaureate degree required, MBA, MHA or MSN preferred. Certification as Black Belt with experience in hospital or healthcare system preferred. Five years of progressively responsible management experience required along with demonstrated analytical skills or Black Belt certification. Must have knowledge of latest performance improvement systems and previous experience with leading Performance Improvement Initiatives, involvement with Six Sigma\LEAN or other similar improvement methodology. Previous experience in Information Services, computer science, including analytical applications preferred. Previous diverse nursing experience desirable.
