Consultant needed for Medical Director, Blood Bank & Pathology

Established in 1996, our officers have over 24 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. We also consult & recruit for for Biotechnology, Medical Devices and Clinical Research Organizations within the USA as well as internationally.

The Medical Director must hold all necessary licenses and certifications to qualify as Medical Director for the laboratories, as required by all relevant governing organizations.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

1. Set medical criteria and standards for donor qualification (history, disease testing, etc.)

2. Authorize (in writing) each HPC collection

3. Identify HPC containers with information on transplant recipients

4. Communication with donors and/or their physicians as per SOPs when transmission of abnormal lab results or other information is indicated.

Skills/Knowledge Required:

§ Medical degree from accredited school required.

§ Formal training in Blood Banking and Anatomic and Clinical Pathology.

§ At least ten (10) years of experience in Blood Banking and Pathology.

§ Holds or qualified to hold and obtains necessary licensure and certification for laboratory Medical Director.

§ Knowledge and expertise related to with regulatory standards and donor requirements.

§ Excellent leadership, communication and presentation skills.
