Health and Safety Manager

Exide is seeking a Health and Safety Manager for its Bristol , TN manufacturing facility. A qualified candidate will have a Bachelor of Science degree in Safety, or related field, at least five to eight years experience in a manufacturing facility (with at least 3-5 years in a supervisory role), and excellent written and oral communication skills.

This role manages and coordinates activities of the plant safety and health department to ensure conformance with company policies and compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. The position works closely with the facility’s manufacturing and engineering functions. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Excellent compensation and benefits.
