Imaging Tech II PRN - Lakeside

The Imaging Tech II operates diagnostic equipment and performs a variety of technical diagnostic imaging procedures which encompass ONE of the specialty areas, i.e. Ultrasound, Peripheral Vascular, Echocardiography, Angiography, CT, or MRI.; provides patient orientation, procedure explanation, and pre and post diagnostic care to completion of test; performs complete diagnostic imaging tests inclusive of positioning patient, calibration of equipment, and documentation of findings, with the direction of the imaging supervisor/manager; assists patients with basic patient care needs; and provides emergency care, notifying appropriate personnel and ensures that patient safety is not jeopardized.

Minimum Requirements

Two year degree in an approved Radiology Program

Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) license

Current certification as Medical Radiologic Technologist with the Texas Department Health
