Microsoft Infrastructure Advisory Solutions Architect

As the Microsoft Infrastructure Solutions Architect, you will provide the technical leadership and staff mentorship for the analysis, design, development, integration, installation, implementation, and support of Microsoft centered network resources using your strong knowledge of Windows, Active Directory, and Exchange. You will be part of the National Technical Infrastructure Practice and will work to refine and enhance our implementation methodologies practice-wide. We’ll look to you to contribute to the development of strategies, policies, and best practices.

As part of your project delivery responsibilities you will participate when needed as a technical expert in pre-sales qualification. You will design, develop, and articulate solutions based on a customer's strategic business or technical requirements. You will lead the implementation with responsibility for the delivery of the technical architecture designs, strategies, and quality assurance plans that will be delivered. You will work closely with Project Managers and Program Managers in the design, development, and implementation of the technical content defined in the Statement of Work. You’ll create project status reports and accurately track/manage project issues and risks.

As part of EMC’s Total Customer Experience, you will hold responsibility for achieving the EMC Bar of Excellence as the highest level of Customer Satisfaction for every customer. You will develop and cultivate strong customer relationships ensuring a "Customers for Life" relationship.

Required Skills
Ø 10+years of experience in the analysis, design, implementation, and support of large complex networks
Ø Expert-level background working with Exchange 2007, Windows 2008, and Active Directory 08
Ø Strong organization, analytical, and problem solving skills
Ø Strong documentation skills including experience writing proposals and statements of work
Ø Excellent client facing and presentation skills

Desired Skills
Ø Prior consulting experience
Ø Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
Ø Exchange migration experience
Ø Experience with other Microsoft Back Office Products such as SQL, SMS, MOM, LCS, OCS,SCOM, SCCM, ISA, or IIS
Ø Project leadership experience
Ø MCSE 2000 or 2003
