General Summary: Under the supervision of a registered occupational therapist, provides skilled occupational therapy to patients/clients with a wide variety of diagnoses and disabilities, taking into account individual patient's special physical or age-related needs. Requires skills in patient/client treatment, as well as professional consultations to achieve maximum patient/client independence in accordance with individual's functional level and potential.
Required: Degree from an accredited Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant Program. Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant licensure through the State of Oregon. Occasionally a position will require specialized C.O.T.A. training or experience to meet a particular department need. Assignments to specific service environments may require an Oregon driver's license.
