SALARY & BENEFITS

ARMED BASE SALARY

$ 26,784 Annual

- Armed Patrol Officer Trainee

$ 12.00 per Hour to start during 180 day (6 months) Probationary Period

Note: The starting hourly rate and annual salary is based on an Armed Patrol Officer that possesses all required licenses/permits and equipment outlined below.

- Unarmed Patrol Officer Trainee

$ 10.50 per Hour to start during 180 day (6 months) Probationary Period

Patrol Officer is in a Trainee position and on probationary status for the 1st 180 days (6 months) of employment. After your 180 day Probationary Period you must have all the required licenses/permits and equipment.

Initial Licenses/Permits and Equipment Requirements:

Drivers License (statutory, minimum of 3 years driving record)

Guard Card License (statutory from the 1st day of employment)

Pepper Spray Permit

Baton Permit

Firearms Permit (Must be in process with the state within the 1st 30 days of hire date)

Valid First Aid & CPR

All Basket weave equipment (please see attached list for a detailed outline)

We provide financial assistance through our in-house loan program to obtain Licenses/Permits.

RAISES

Salary increases are normally granted based on job performance, promotions, length of service and scheduled reviews outlined below. During each Review, based on your performance you will get an automatic salary step increase.

Scheduled Reviews and Raises

1st Review After 1st 180 day Probationary Period 5 % Increase

2nd Review Annual Review 3 % Increase

Semi-Annual Reviews in 6 month intervals 2.5 % Increase

After your 180 day Probationary Period you will be eligible for;

- P.O.S.T. (Police Officer Standard Training) 832 p.c. (Modules 1 & 3) certification.

- Health Benefits including Medical, Dental & Vision (see Health Benefits Section for details).

- Applying to available promotions/positions such as Corporal (Field Training Officer).

- Additional Raises, Benefits and Annual Bonus Programs.

ADDITIONAL SALARY INCREASES

Specialized Pay (Updated 12/01/08)

5% Above Hourly for Administration pay

10% Above Hourly for Hazard pay

20% Above Hourly for Rewards pay

Promotional Pay

10% Above base Hourly for Corporal pay

25% Above base Hourly for Sergeant LI pay

WORK SCHEDULE (Updated 12/01/08)

Patrol teams normally work 8.5 Hour shifts (with lunch) 5 days a Week and typically have 2 consecutive days off. Overtime (at time and a half) is regularly available.

Patrol Coverage is 24 Hours per day, 7 days a Week with the following Shifts:

Regular Patrol Shifts: Days 07:00 – 15:30, Swings 15:00 – 23:30, Intermediate: 20:00 – 04:30 and Graveyard 23:30 – 08:00 (other shifts may also be available).

HEALTH INSURANCE

Excellent health, dental and vision plans are available for Patrol Officers and their eligible family members/domestic partners. Security Specialists contributes large percentages to all base and personalized plans.

SICK LEAVE AND DISABILITY BENEFITS

Patrol Officers receive 3 days of 100 % paid sick leave upon completion of their 1st 180 day Probationary Period and each year while employed. You may accumulate paid sick leave if never used after completing the 1st year of employment. Disability Benefits are covered through statutory Disability Insurance from the state of California and our Worker’s Compensation Insurance Provider.

VACATION AND HOLIDAYS

Patrol Officers receive 3 days of vacation per year after one year of service and 5 days per year after 5 years. Patrol Officers also receive a total of 10 holidays paid at time and a half per year and a paid day off on Birthdays.

ADDITIONAL BENEFITS & BONUSES

- Officer of the Month $ 100.00 Bonus

- Officer of the Quarter $ 250.00 Bonus

- Officer of the Year $ 500.00 Bonus

- Annual Productivity Level Bonus Program - Up to $ 500.00+

- 10-20 % Sales commissions paid for Referrals or assistance with bringing in new cliental (even with simply passing out of a business card).
