Safety & Environmental Supervisor: Nestle Purina PetCare

Nestle Purina PetCare, a leading manufacturer of cat box filler, is currently seeking a Safety & Environmental Supervisor for our King William, Virginia facility. The ideal candidate will possess basic knowledge of safety and environmental policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state and federal (MSHA) rules and regulations. Experience in developing and implementing safety training programs, administration of Workers Compensation, auditing organization facilities to detect existing or potential accident, health and/or environmental hazards, and design and development of facilities, work areas and work procedures to ensure compliance. Bachelors degree in Safety, Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Sciences or a related field plus 3 years experience in safety in a manufacturing environment preferred; OR a minimum of an associate’s degree in Safety, Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Sciences or related field and 7+ years of progressive experience will be considered.
