Maintenance Superintendent: First Realty Management

First Realty Management Corp., a well established provider of management services for residential communities throughout New England, is seeking an experienced Maintenance Superintendent for a 180-unit apartment community in Providence.

The Maintenance Super. is responsible for maximizing customer satisfaction by ensuring that the interior of apartments and exterior of buildings and grounds are maintained in a safe and clean manner. The maintenance super also oversees and directs the day to day activities, emergencies, and assignments of maintenance staff.

This is a hands-on position that requires extensive knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems, carpentry and general repair and maintenance duties.

Requirements
• Extensive knowledge of general residential maintenance including electrical, boiler, plumbing, HVAC systems, carpentry, and general repair.
• Ability to promote and maintain good resident relations, supervise maintenance staff, and effectively prioritize and organize both maintenance and administrative work.
• At least 5 years experience in a maintenance supervisory role
• Experience with residential maintenance preferred
• Must be computer literate
• Must have ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of First Realty Management employees, site staff, residents, vendors, contractors, suppliers and others responsible for servicing the company and property.
• Ability to report to site quickly in case of an emergency
