Job Functions

The principle role of this position is to develop accurate work measurement standards throughout the operations by providing focused IE projects that will improve throughout, reduce non value-added time and in turn, reduce cost. Perform analysis of material work flow for optimized performance opprotunities. Also develops cost models as required to support customer quotations, cost reduction initatives, and other needs, and manages capacity models for the plant in support of Sales and Operations planning programs

Responsibilities

• Provide a physical and emotionally safe working environment promoting mutual trust and respect
• Performs methods engineering-includes work flow analysis/balance, methods standardization, manpower planning -in order to minimize nonproductive time and improve throughout
• Provide cost workups as requested by Customer Service, Accounting, Engineering, and/or Manufacturing
• Support various projects such as QSI, Shop Floor Data Collection and document all IE Department policies and procedures
• Report/analyze various labor information for Manufacturing, Management, and/or Engineering as requested and address labor variances

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial or Mechanical engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience is required
• 3-5 years experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
• Ability to develop, desig. Draw/Spec creative equipment/tooling/systems solutions
• Must have excellent PC, interpersonal and team problem solving skills. CAD experience desirable
