PROCESS CONTROL ENGINEER (Petrochemical plant): The Albrecht Group

Our client is a leading petrochemical company, located in Southeast Texas .

They are seeking a Process Controls Engineer who has experience with process control systems, logic interfaces, controller devices and standard electrical devices in manufacturing environments. The Process Controls Engineer will be responsible for providing support to new and existing processes and process automation needs in the plant.

The Process Controls Engineer will provide daily support and guidance to computer maintenance technicians, instrumentation technicians and electrical technicians in the plant. The Process Controls Engineer will support technicians in troubleshooting process control problems and in the modification of process control equipment, including PLC’s and DCS Systems.

This is an ideal position for a Process Controls Engineer who has had experience with PLC programming and network configuration, as well as experience in drive/ operator interfaces and instrumentation. This is an ideal opportunity for the Process Controls Engineer who is seeking a challenging, high visibility opportunity in a fast-paced production environment.

This position is located in southeast Texas .

REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:

• BS degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
• 5+ years experience in a production/ manufacturing environment
• 5+ years experience in DCS systems and instrumentation.
• Experience with Triconex, ProVox, Delta V or similar systems.
• In-depth understanding of safety interlock systems in context of meeting ISA 84 requirements.
