Job Description:
The Hampton Inn Chicago/Schaumburg is currently searching for a highly motivated individual with experience in Sales & Marketing, preferrably with limited service or extended stay experience, needed to fill the open position of DIRECTOR OF SALES.
This position will build and lead the sales team, conduct outside sales calls, obtain key business accounts, conduct site tours, network within the local business community and drive sales. Individual will be responsible for promotional material, and maintaining constant communication with General Manager to include weekly revenue meetings, action plans and sales activity logs.

Job Requirements:
* Previous experience as a DOS in the hotel industry required.
* Extended Stay or limited service brand experience preferred.
* Hilton brand sales experience a PLUS!
* Highly motivated individual with strong intiative and desire for achievement.
* Excellent computer skills required.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Must be an effective salesperson and leader, and able to drive revenue by executing a proactive Sales process.
