Description:
Farm Family is headquartered in Glenmont, NY (2 miles south of Albany) and is part of the American National family of companies.

Responsibilities:

– Answers telephone calls from customers reporting new losses and with general customer service, accounts receivable, and policy questions received on the Home Office and FNOL phone lines.
– Accurately inputs information into claim system and forwards claim to appropriate claim office.
– Researches new losses by making outbound customer service calls to insureds, claimants, agents, other insurance companies, medical offices and attorneys.
– Issues and mails checks, files paperwork and assists claim offices with clerical work as assigned.
– Minimum 1 year in a call center environment required; 3 years experience in a customer relations position preferred.
– High School diploma or GED required.
– Must have a minimum typing speed of 50-55 WPM.
