Job description:

We are looking for someone to perform inspections and tests using sampling procedures of incoming materials, subassemblies, and finished medical devices. Support incoming inspection and production quality control activities. Responsible for assuring that components, subassemblies, and products have been manufactured, inspected, and tested using approved procedures and specifications.

Essential Functions:

Perform inspections, test methods, and sampling procedures to ensure components, subassemblies and finished products meet quality requirements and procedures with minimal supervision.

Ability to understand material specifications, component drawings, and sampling plans.

Accurately complete data forms with inspection results and generate nonconformance Reports where

appropriate.

Complete incoming and production quality control activities to ensure compliance with internal procedures, QSR, MDD, ISO/EN requirements.

Support production quality control activities to ensure timely inspections and efficient material movement.

Evaluate problems and make initial recommendations for possible corrective actions to supervisor.

Ensure quality records, production documents, and calibration is accurate and compliant to internal procedures and GMP/GDP.

Perform data entry into database.

Perform other related duties and assignments as required.

Primary contact with R&D, Manufacturing, and Quality Engineers, as well as cleanroom personn

Requirements:

The ideal candidate must be a High School graduate or equivalent required. AA in a technical field preferred. 3-6 years in QA/QC inspection/technician experience required. Medical device experience preferred.

Skills/Aptitudes:

  • Familiarity with a wide range of inspection equipment including gauges, calipers and vision systems.
  • Good math and verbal/written communication skills.
  • Computer literacy is required.
