Expert WebSphere MQ Specialist Needed
DESCRIPTION:
CTG has a position available for an Expert WebSphere MQ professional in Bentonville, Arkansas. The Middleware Administrator will be responsible for MQ Series (groups queue managers and managing queues, MQ Series security), CFT and Websphere Application Server (WAS) Position Responsibilities: Monitoring and Problem resolution for the Middleware integration environment and Installation, Configuration and deployment of Websphere MQ and MQ Software Products. The Middleware Administrator will install and configure MQ Series queue managers, queues, channels, clients on Windows and UNIX/Linux platforms. Will support medium MQ Series environment (20 servers) and numerous clients. Also will provide technical support on CFT and FTP for Retail Applications.
Project Duration: 6+ Months with renewal opportunities
Project Location: Bentonville, Arkansas—sorry no telecommuting or short-work-weeks available
REQUIRED SKILL SET:

Strong Knowledge and experience with MQ processes, triggers, channels, clustering and MQ Series Application programming.

Working knowledge of Microsoft O/S, AIX, SUN Solaris, and Linux, As400/I-Series Working knowledge of Banking Apps such as Money Transfer, Swift Managing Systems, and Trading Apps etc. Maintain and monitor the MQ Series environment via MQ Monitoring tools, platforms and consoles (QPasa)

Maintain and monitor the CFT environment via Scripts/Tivoli in liaison with Paris CFT Support team. Maintain and monitor the WAS environment via CA Wily Experience with building utilities to manage and maintain Middleware integration environments. 6-8 solid years of MQ Series Admin Experience.
