General Summary: Provides a variety of general, mechanic and preventative maintenance duties as well as inspections servicing, repair and overhaul of equipment for satellite buildings. Works independently coordinating daily work flow in maintaining assigned buildings & projects. Monitors safe work practices, work quality, and project status. Informs the Maintenance Manager on issues, project status, carries out work orders and assists technicians. Collaborate with other technicians to solve unique problems. Mentors maintenance assistants and apprentices. Works with outside contractors on maintenance repairs and special projects.
Required: High School Diploma or equivalent. Associate degree or equivalent training program in HVAC. Universal refrigerant certification. 6 years experience in general commercial maintenance or stationary engineering. LME/LMBE Electrical License. Valid Driver's license. Computer and automated building controls.
Preferred: CPR certification. Experience in the medical/hospital environment. Experience with JACHO standards for ambulatory care.
