Maintenance Technician: Personnel People

Responsibilities

· Represent the company in the highest professional and ethical manner at all times

· Perform a variety of diversified duties to install, adjust, assemble and repair production and auxiliary equipment plant and maintain routine repair of building under the supervision of the Maintenance Manager

· Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and lubrication of all systems as outlined above

· Work from simple blueprints, sketches and written or verbal instructions

· Use of basic shop power tools (ie: drill press, welder, torches, small lathe, saws and hydraulic press)

· Use of standard hand and hand held electronic tools

· Use of measuring instruments such as scale, micrometers, venires, gauges, protractor and level

· Basic skills in such duties as equipment electrical and hydraulic troubleshooting, plumbing, painting, welding, torch cutting, fabricating, assembly and carpentry

· Move materials as necessary using a forklift, tractor/and or cranes, jacks rollers or manually as required

· Report unusual conditions or circumstances to the Maintenance Manager

· Maintain equipment and work area in a clean and orderly condition while observing all safety and health requirements

· Perform all duties deemed necessary to support company

Minimum Requirements

· Must possess a High School Diploma or GED equivalent

· Knowledge of basic electrical and hydraulic principles and troubleshooting techniques

· Must have basic computer skills

· Must be able to understand and work from written and/or verbal instruction

· Must be able to fluently read, write and speak the English language and work with basic math functions

· Must be capable of handling multiple priorities/tasks

· Must be able to lift and stack materials up to and in excess of 70lbs

· Must possess a valid driver's license
